World 3.0 Foundation history

The World 3.0 Foundation has been active since 2015. Over the years, it has undergone a clear evolution — from activities focused on legal support to an organization developing environmental, analytical, and systemic projects.

Stage 1

Establishment of Fundacja Astrea

29 September 2015

The Foundation was established on 6 October 2015 under the name Fundacja Astrea. In its early years, it focused on supporting individuals and businesses in legal matters, providing access to professional legal assistance and support in cases requiring the involvement of domestic and international law firms.

These activities included the preparation of procedural documentation, applications, statements of claim, and legal analyses, helping beneficiaries assert their rights more effectively — including in proceedings of an international nature.

Stage 2

Expansion of activities

A shift in perspective

In the years that followed, the Foundation’s activities began to gradually evolve. The growing importance of environmental, climate-related, and systemic economic challenges led to a broadening of the organisation’s perspective beyond the sphere of legal support.

The Foundation became increasingly involved in initiatives related to environmental protection, the development of nature-friendly technologies, and the promotion of ecological awareness. This was a transitional phase — a shift from an interventional model towards a more strategic and long-term approach.

Stage 3

World 3.0 — current direction

Current model

The rebranding and development of the organisation under the name World 3.0 Foundation reflected a change in direction. Today, the Foundation focuses on issues related to corporate climate accountability, the analysis of systemic emission mechanisms, and the development of technological and social projects supporting environmental protection.

We operate at the intersection of systemic analysis, innovation, public communication, and environmental projects — developing initiatives that support more responsible models of growth and raise awareness of the environmental costs of the modern economy.

The organisation has been operating continuously since 2015, evolving its model of activity in step with the changing scale of social, environmental, and systemic challenges.
